In October of 2010, the James City County Republican Committee held a very successful fundraiser at the Williamsburg Winery, with special guests George and Susan Allen.

 

Working Pizza Social

On September 9th the committee held a working pizza social at Florimonte's restaurant - more than 20 members attend to help prepare the invitations for the upcoming fund raiser.

The August 2010 Meeting of the JCCRC

 
Many members of the JCCRC attended Glenn Beck Restoring Honor Rally held on August 28, 2010 in Washington DC - the JCCRC chartered two buses for the event.

 
James City County Fair

On June 26 the committee hosted a both at the annual James City County Fair - our message was well received by those in attendance.

April Meeting of JCCRC

At our April meeting Delegate Brenda Pogge and State Senator Tommy Norment gave the committee and update on legislative events in Richmond.

Wittman Campaign Kick-Off

On April 20th Congressman Rob Wittman held a succesful kick-off event for his 2010 re-election bid.  The event was held at Wittman Headquarters on George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown.

Victory Party!

The JCCRC held an election night victory party at Florimontes Restaurant in Williamsburg.
 
Williamsburg Victory Rally!


On October 31, the statewide ticket came to the James City County Victory Office for a rally.  The visit was an honor and an acknowledgment of the hard work of those in the county.  Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling, and Ken Cuccinelli were cheered on by more than two hundred supporters, in spite of overcast weather.  Among those in attendance were Congressman Rob Wittman, State Senator Thomas Norment, Delegate Brenda Pogge and candidate for the 64th district, Stan Clark.


Blackberry Training

On October 31, volunteers trained on special Blackberry phones which were used on Election Day to send real time voter information from polling locations.  The information greatly aided the get out the vote effort.

School Board Forum

Our October 28th meeting featured a school board forum between the two candidates for the Powhatan district seat, Mr. Joe Fuentes and Mr. Gualano Davis.  Also, attending was Mrs. Ruth Larson, the current Jamestown district school board member who is running unopposed.
