Mission Statement
It is the mission of the James City County Republican Committee to support the cause of electing Republicans at all levels of government. We accomplish this by increasing voter registration, committee membership, and citizen awareness of relevant issues affecting them. We actively grow, maintain, and support an effective and functional precinct organization with the goal to get out the vote on Election Day. In addition, we are committed to effective fundraising for Republican candidates who ascribe to the Republican Creed.
Message from the Chairman
Welcome to our site. We are delighted you are here and hope you check back often to learn about how we are having a relevant impact in James City County and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I’m sure you agree, we are blessed tolive in the greatest nation in the world. Because of this blessing, we have a responsibility to uphold the ideals and precepts handed down to us by our founding fathers. Ideals like liberty, justice, freedom, and peace resonate through us as Republicans. Many brave Americans have given their”last full measure of devotion” to secure these ideals for us. Let’s not take this for granted.
We, as Americans, have wolves at our door and in our house who threaten to destroy our American and family values. As Republicans, we must stand resolute and willing to fight when these values are threatened. Remember what Sir Edmund Burke said: “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” As Republicans, we may choose to disagree on the minors but we must always choose to be united on the majors. The majors are epitomized in our Republican Creed located right here on this page. If you agree with this creed then let me be the first to say welcome to the Republican Party. I invite you to join our committee and become active in being a significant voice for good in our community.

We Believe . . .
That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice
That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society
That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government
That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing constitutional limitations
That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense
That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers, is essential to the moral fibre of the Nation
